Santiniketan Public School observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, on October 31, 2019 to commemorate the 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

On this occasion, the students of our school vowed that they will preserve the unity, integrity and security of our nation. A ‘Run for Unity’ was also organized for the students of std VII and Std VIII. ‘Prabhat Pheri’ was conducted by the students of Std V and VI inorder to awaken the spirit of national unity. It also enlightened the young minds by remembering the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

On this same day ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ programme was organized, the aim of this programme was to enhance the interaction between students of diverse cultures and to celebrate the unity in diversity of our nation. Parade was also organized in which our students wore the traditional attire of each state and spoke about the culture and tradition of Indian States.
